Most people don't move very often, so it's always a good idea to get as much information regarding the moving process as possible. This is to help you make an informed decision on who to hire and what to look for in a moving company.

Money Saving Tips for Local Moving:

  • If possible disassemble and reassemble items such as beds and dresser mirrors. This can save a lot of time, especially cribs, bunk beds and Ikea items.

  • Have any appliances ready to be moved. Our insurance won't allow for our crew to disconnect or reconnect water or electrical items. Make sure to have the locking bolts for front loading washers! call for more information.

  • If you are packing, make sure all loose items are packed, this can save a lot of time. This will also prevent claims.

  • Pull items out of your attic and from crawl space areas. Our crew will be happy to help you get these items out if need be, but we are not able to go into pull down attic's or unfinished crawl spaces.

  • Being organized is likely the biggest help. Knowing what is going, and where it will be placed in your new home will save you a lot of time and will help the day go much smoother.

  • Label your boxes, this will help our crew know exactly where to place the boxes in your new home.
